Goddess

Elena is like a rare jewel. She shines brilliantly and is truly one of a kind. Like a goddess come down from Olympus.

I bought Elena earrings from Anthropologie. I was ashamed because I only had Valentine's Day wrapping paper, but of course Elena Generous-of-Heart Weissman accepted my gift without comment or criticism. And today, she ACTUALLY WORE the earrings. Ugh, if only I were an earring on those beautifully elfish ears. Then I would look super cute and stylish, like everything else Lain Lain wears.

I forget to tell all of you!! Several weeks ago, I ordered in Chinese food with Elena. Elena, I hate to admit this, owed me 5 dollars from a previous occasion. So Elena paid for my food, and I intended to pay her the difference of one dollar. She refused to accept my dollar- she scoffed at it and basically said TRUE FRIENDS DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ONE DOLLAR!! She is so kind. Literally, like Mother Theresa reincarnated. Accept way more stylish. And with way better hair.

Elena and I used to go spinning every week. We would spin with Hazel (we called her Hazey) then get iced coffees or fro-yo. Even in the darkness of the spinning studio, I could see the determination on Elena's face. She is a warrior at heart. Also, she sweats less than normal people. She loves iced coffees a lot, but sometimes she would get unsweetened Passion Fruit iced tea. I obv would just follow suit.

Also, I was supposed to hang out with Elena this week, but Loren ruined it as per usual. Blech.
